This Privacy Policy describes how Regenix AI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Regenix AI mobile application (the "App") and our website at regenix.ai (the "Website").

By using the App or Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information provided through your sign-in method:

  • Name and email address (via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In)
  • Authentication tokens for session management

1.2 Health and Personal Information

To generate your personalized recovery plan, we collect:

  • Age, sex, height, and weight
  • Injury description and details
  • Surgery status and date
  • Date of injury and physiotherapy start date
  • Recovery goals
  • Additional medical notes you choose to provide

1.3 Medical Documents

You may optionally upload photos of medical documents (such as surgical reports or discharge letters). These images are processed by AI to extract relevant medical information. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.

1.4 Usage and Activity Data

As you use the App, we collect:

  • Daily plan completion status
  • Individual exercise and habit completion
  • Pain ratings (1-10 scale)
  • Exercise detail modifications (reps, sets, notes)
  • Activity dates and recovery streaks

1.5 Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Regenix Pro, subscription management is handled entirely through Apple's App Store. We receive subscription status information (active, expired, etc.) but do not process or store your payment details directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Generate and adapt your personalized daily recovery plans
  • Provide AI-powered coaching and guidance through the chat feature
  • Track your recovery progress, streaks, and milestones
  • Send daily push notification reminders (with your permission)
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Improve and optimize the App experience
  • Respond to your support requests

3. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

We use the following third-party services to provide our core functionality:

3.1 AI Providers

  • MiniMax: Processes your health information to generate recovery plans, milestones, and AI coaching responses. Your data is sent as part of API requests and is not stored by MiniMax beyond the duration of the request.
  • Anthropic (Claude): Processes uploaded medical document images to extract text and structured information. Image data is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request.

3.2 Infrastructure

  • Supabase: Provides our database, authentication, and serverless functions infrastructure. Your data is stored securely with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
  • RevenueCat: Manages subscription status synchronization between the App Store and our systems.

3.3 Authentication Providers

  • Google: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account.
  • Apple: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email (or a private relay email if you choose to hide your email).

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure that each user can only access their own data. Some data is also cached locally on your device for offline functionality.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send daily push notifications to remind you about your recovery plan. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

9. Medical Disclaimer

Regenix AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The recovery plans and AI coaching are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise or rehabilitation program.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and on our Website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
